The only reason why your Browntape account may get de-activated is on non-receipt of payment. In case your payment to Browntape has lapsed then your Browntape account will get de-activated. To activate it again, all you need to do is make payment using a mode preferred by you.
To avoid de-activation of account, make regular payments or set up a recurring payment process.
